Job Title: Corporate Safety Director

The Corporate Safety Director will be responsible for the continuous development of safety policies and procedures as well as effective implementation of these policies and will be ultimately responsible for having an effective workplace safety program and culture in place. Qualifications and Experience Include: Ten or more years experience in safety management within the construction industry.Prefer a BS/BA in Risk Management or Industrial Safety and Health.Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Experience with safety management systems including OSHA VPP Detail oriented with a tenacious focus on results. A quantitative and practical intellect. Job Description:

We are looking for an estimator for our Richmond VA office who will work with our business unit directors in preparing estimates and bid packages for plan/spec and design/build projects. We are looking for an individual strong in both commercial mechanical and plumbing estimating. Job requirements include specification review, analysis of the scope of work, preparation of take offs for rough in materials and quoted items, scope preparation for subcontractors (ductwork, controls, insulation, etc.) on plan/spec and design/build projects. Assistance in collecting bids from vendors and sub contractors. Provide initial material and subcontractor budgets. Deliver bid packages to the business units on time. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years experience in developing estimates for plan/spec and design/build projects for commerical mechanical contractors.Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and meet imposed deadlines and have skills with estimating and bidding software.

We are looking for a project manager for our construction business unit in our Newport News office. Employee would be responsiblefor coordination of piping, plumbing, HVAC controls, ductwork, insulation, and fire protection trades on commercial and industrial projects. Coordinate takeoffs, procurement, submittals, and delivery of material to the job when needed. Monitor project labor and material budgets. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting as requested. Job requirments include:Ten plus years of project management experience with a mid-sized mechanical contractor ($20 million - $30 million +)Management of projects in the $2 million to $8 million range. Well rounded experience managing plumbing/piping, sheet metal, prefabrication and HVAC projects. Excellent time management and detail orientated are a must.



Job Title: Special Projects Manager – Richmond

Job Description:

We are looking for a Special Projects Project Manager for our Richmond office. Duties will include research and development of client contact information to identify and prioritize potential customers, development of personal objectives and strategies in support of overall business unit goals and objectives, preparation of qualification statements and delivery of formal project presentations to potential clients, and project-management of a portfolio of mechanical projects. The person we are looking for will develop new business with a strong focus on small commercial mechanical projects ($50,000 to $750,000). You will act as the liaison with customer procuring work, estimating and managing through conclusion of project while continuing to build and develop the associated relationship.Requirements include: Experienced in developing business relationships with general contractors and building owners/managers of commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.Prepare estimates and generate formal proposals for small mechanical projects. Present proposals clients in a timely manner. Manage the project once sold through completion. Be the liaison between the client and the operations team during the performance of the work. Promptly resolve all issues and problems.Be open to coaching and learning best practices in selling and project management. Qualifications Include: Four to seven years experience in selling commercial HVAC and/or plumbing services to commercial property owners, commercial property managers, industrial facilities, and/or medical facilities. Experienced in estimating plumbing, piping and HVAC projects. Ability to develop basic design sketches of mechanical/plumbing systems to quantity a scope of work in advance of developing an estimate Success in building a referral base for his/her business. Ability to work without direct supervision.
