Commissioning
With HVAC and plumbing systems being designed with
ever increasing complexity, it's more important than
ever that the Mechanical Contractor as well as the associated
construction team use a systematic approach to install
and verify proper operation of all mechanical systems.
This formal process, commonly called "Commissioning",
ensures that mechanical systems are operating as designed,
and are providing efficient mechanical systems, proper
indoor air quality and system maintainability. Warwick
Plumbing & Heating has long recognized the benefits
of this process, and therefore has implemented various
levels of commissioning across all its projects. Each
project is unique, but a typical large project may include
the following commissioning items:
- Preconstruction review of mechanical design
- Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA) during
construction
- Mechanical Systems Installation and Performance Verification
- Building Automation System (BAS) Installation and Performance Verification
- Test, Adjust and Balance (TAB) Verification
- Detailed Owners Training
Warwick Plumbing & Heating, with Professional Engineers
on staff, also offer "retro-commissioning" services.
Existing facilities experiencing mechanical system problems
can be readily diagnosed with turn-key solutions offered.
